Churwell CIC is a social enterprise working to support communities and individuals to develop and achieve their potential.

About Us

Churwell CIC is a not for profit social enterprise business incorporated as a community interest company in 2012. Our aim is to support communities and individuals to develop and achieve their potential.

We will do this by developing and delivering opportunities for children, young people, adults, families and community organisations to develop their skills and experiences to support them in achieving their aims.

We will work in partnership with other organisations, both voluntary, private and public sector to develop and deliver high quality services to meet the needs of the community.

Churwell CIC is based in Morley, to the south of Leeds and is well placed to provide services to communities in the West Yorkshire districts of Leeds, Kirklees, Wakefield and Bradford.

Our Services

• PLAY@Churwell Day Nursery provides early education and childcare from 0-5 years. Be curious and see our unique approach to learning.
• PLAY@Churwell Forest School runs in school holidays for children aged 5-11 years. Play and be more physically active in the natural environment.
• Churwell CIC Training offers an apprenticeship programme and work experience placements to students, in partnership with local colleges and training providers.
• Churwell CIC Business offers mentoring and support for local early education providers.
• Churwell CIC Creches provide qualified and experienced staff to care for children from birth upwards in an off site creche. This service is currently not accepting new bookings while we work on developing our day nursery and forest school.
